Srinagar, June 29 -- Chairman of the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly Committee on Environment and CPI(M) MLA M. Y. Tarigami on Monday welcomed the Kulgam administration's enforcement of the ban on single-use plastic and polythene carry bags, urging all Deputy Commissioners to adopt similar measures to make Jammu and Kashmir plastic-free.
Tarigami welcomed the Deputy Commissioner Kulgam's decision to strictly enforce the ban on single-use plastic and polythene carry bags in the district through a public notice.
