Vijayawada, Aug. 31 -- Five youths were killed in two separate road accidents in Andhra Pradesh on Monday, police said.
Sub-Inspector Satish Kumar said three youths were killed when the motorcycle they were riding rammed into a roadside tree at Arava Bandlapalli village in Nallamada mandal of Sri Sathya Sai district in the early hours of Monday.
The deceased, identified as Anil (25), Arjun (25) and Deekshit (25), were travelling to Kadiri when the rider lost control of the motorcycle and it crashed into the tree. All three died on the spot.
Police registered a case and shifted the bodies to the Government General Hospital (GGH) in Kadiri for postmortem.
