Kolkata, June 18 -- Five senior Trinamool Congress legislators, known for their allegiance to Mamata Banerjee, held a face-to-face meeting with Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari in his chamber on the opening day of the West Bengal Assembly session on Thursday.
The delegation included Kunal Ghosh, veteran leader Sobhandeb Chattopadhyay, Madan Mitra, Ashok Deb, and Rahim Bakshi.
According to sources, the meeting was convened to discuss several pressing issues concerning the interests of the party and the people of the state.
Sources in Nabanna and the Assembly said the Trinamool delegation placed three key demands before the Chief Minister.
