Imphal, Feb. 27 -- Police in Manipur and security forces arrested five militants belonging to various banned outfits on Thursday, police said today.
Police said security forces arrested the first militant at Koirengei Manung Laikhon Leikai in Imphal East district on Wednesday.
Two other cadres of the same outfit were also apprehended from Yaingangpokpi in Imphal East district. Another cadre of the outfit was arrested from Waheng Khuman area in Imphal West district.
In another operation police arrested a militant at Imphal East district.
