Godda, Feb. 26 -- Five people, including three children, were injured after two passenger buses collided head-on near Bans Bhitha under Boarijor block in Jharkhand's Godda district on Thursday.
According to police sources, the accident occurred near the Boarijor block headquarters when a bus travelling from Ranchi to Sahibganj, collided with another bus coming from Barharwa towards Godda. The impact of the collision left two girls, one boy, a man and an elderly person injured.
On receiving information, the Boarijor police rushed to the spot and arranged for an ambulance to shift the injured to Boarijor Referral Hospital, where treatment is currently underway. Their condition was stated to be stable till the filing of this report.
