Srinagar, June 25 -- Five workers sustained minor injuries after a portion of an under-construction vehicle overpass collapsed in Baramulla district on Thursday, officials said.
The incident occurred at the under-construction new bypass near Darul Uloom Cheradari on the outskirts of Baramulla town.
Officials said during the concreting process, when the staging structure supporting the overpass reportedly tilted, causing a section of the freshly laid concrete and shuttering to give way.
"Five workers sustained minor injuries," officials said.
