Varanasi, Jan. 21 -- To commemorate the birth anniversary of the great freedom fighter Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, the Vishal Bharat Sansthan organized a five-day International Subhas Festival at Subhas Bhavan in Lamhi.
On Wednesday, the festival was inaugurated by Professor Priya Ranjan Trivedi, a renowned environmentalist and Chancellor of Nagaland International University, by offering garlands, performing Aarti, breaking a coconut, and lighting a torch at the world's first Subhas temple.
Upon Professor Trivedi's arrival at Subhas Bhavan, the assembled youth gave him a rousing welcome with a shower of flowers.
