Agartala, Jan. 21 -- The Border Security Force (BSF) detained five individuals, including four Indians, who were attempting to cross the international border in the Batadola area under Sonamura sub-division in Tripura's Sepahijala district early this morning.

The operation was conducted by personnel of the 81st Battalion of BSF, and among those detained, Dhananjay Dhar (59) was identified as a Bangladeshi national, and the remaining four were Indian nationals.

According to police, three of the Indian nationals, identified as Tapan Kumar Ghosh (56), Saikat Choudhury (55), and Ajit Kumar Das (42), are residents of the North 24 Parganas district in West Bengal, while the fourth Indian national, Rabin Mia (22), resides in the Sonamura police ...
