Dharamshala, May 24 -- A special "Sunday on Cycle" programme was organised in the sports city of Dharamshala on Sunday under the Fit India Movement, marking the launch of the "Start of Commonwealth Games-2030" campaign.
The event was organised by the National Centre of Excellence, Dharamshala, under the Sports Authority of India (SAI), functioning under the union Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports. The campaign aimed to promote fitness awareness among youth and the general public while generating support for the proposed Commonwealth Games-2030 in India.
Commonwealth Games gold medal-winning wrestler Babita Phogat attended the programme as the chief guest and motivated young athletes to adopt fitness as a way of life.
