Jaipur, May 15 -- The first SME-led Semiconductor unit of India was launched on Friday in the Bhiwadi industrial hub of Alwar district of Rajasthan.
The Small Medium Enterprises SME-led Semiconductor facility -- for semiconductor assembly, testing, and packaging (OSAT/ATMP), including memory chips -- launched by Sahasra Semiconductors Private Limited, was virtually inaugurated on Friday by Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma from Jaipur and union Minister for Railways, IT Electronics and Information Technology Ashwini Vaishnaw, Environment and Forest Minister Bhupendra Yadav from New Delhi.
