Patna, Dec. 1 -- The first session of the newly-constituted Bihar Legislative Assembly began on Monday, and MLAs were administered the oath by protem Speaker Narendra Narain Yadav.

As the newly-elected members of the Assembly assembled for the pre-lunch sitting on the first day of its first session, Protem Speaker Narendra Narain Yadav, in his opening remarks, said that people had given great responsibility to the MLAs by electing them as their representatives in the recently held Bihar Assembly elections.
