Aizawl, March 16 -- The three-day Lemchan - Mizoram Film Festival 2026 commenced on Sunday in Aizawl, marking the first time such a festival has been organised in the state through the joint initiative of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the National Film Development Corporation (NFDC) and the Directorate of Information and Public Relations (I&PR), Government of Mizoram.
The inaugural programme was held at the Mini Theatre, Lianchhiari Run, located within the I&PR Office complex at Treasury Square, where the festival was formally inaugurated by Mizoram Information, Public Relations, Printing and Stationery Minister B. Lalchhanzova.
