Thiruvananthapuram, Aug. 27 -- The first issue of the Journal of Indian Knowledge Systems has been brought out by the Indian Knowledge System and Heritage Association (IKSHA), an initiative of Prajna Pravah, in collaboration with international academic publisher Brill.

Senior RSS Pracharak and Prajna Pravah National Convener J Nandakumar said that the peer-reviewed journal aims to highlight and engage with India's vast intellectual traditions by providing a platform for scholars to study the country's heritage across time and space.

He noted that the journal will draw on Indian texts (Shastra), contexts, and practices (Loka Parampara) as primary modes of knowledge production.
