Agartala, July 13 -- Tripura Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha opened the newly built Dr Syama Prasad Mukherjee Agartala Civil Hospital, a state-of-the-art 50-bed healthcare establishment at Jackson Gate in the city, which was constructed for Rs 20.37 cr last evening.

This hospital aims to greatly improve access to high-quality healthcare for the residents of Agartala and the surrounding suburban areas.

After the inauguration, the chief minister visited the new hospital, marking the event as a significant advancement in Tripura's public healthcare.

He expressed that the creation of this hospital demonstrates the state government's dedication to providing modern, affordable, and accessible healthcare services directly to the populace.
