Chennai, Jan. 9 -- Hours after a Single Judge of Justice Ms Asha directed the CBFC to issue censor certificateimmediately for actor-politician Vijay swansong film 'Jana Nayagan', the First Bench of the Madras High Courttoday stayed the Order and adjourned the matter to January 21 for further hearing.
This meant that the film, which was earlier scheduled for worldwide release today and was deferred due to thedelay in getting the censor certificate, would not hit the screens for the Pongal festival to be celebrated next week.
According to industry sources, the film was scheduled for release in 650 screens in the state along with actorSiva Karthikeyan's 'Parasakthi', which got CBFC certification at the last minute after agreeing for 25 cuts ...
