Hyderabad, Feb. 26 -- In a landmark achievement for public healthcare in Telangana, the first woman to undergo an invitro fertilisation (IVF) at the Gandhi IVF Centre has delivered a healthy baby girl, marking the first birth through government-run IVF services in the State.
On the occasion, Health Minister Damodar Rajanarsimha felicitated the doctors and staff of the Gandhi Hospital IVF Centre at a function held at the Indian Institute of Health and Family Welfare (IIHFW) here. He congratulated the team for making advanced fertility treatment accessible through the public healthcare system.
