Bareilly, Sept. 4 -- A late-night firing incident during a party at the Government Railway Police (GRP) station at Bareilly Junction created panic on the premises and among passengers at the station. Two police personnel, including the Inspector in charge, were injured after accidental gunfire inside the station premises.
According to reports, the incident occurred on Tuesday night when some GRP personnel were having a private party at the station. At around 10 pm, constable Chhotu Kumar was handling his pistol, attempting to load and unload it, when two bullets were accidentally fired. The first bullet hit the wall and a CPU inside the station.
