Kolkata, June 3 -- Escalating the political storm at the Kolkata Municipal Corporation, Mayor Firhad Hakim resigned on Wednesday.
Hakim's resignation came a little after he attended Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari's administrative meeting at the state secretariat Nabanna.
