Fire safety drills conducted at school, fuel stations in Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur, July 17 -- The Fire Department in East Singhbhum district conducted mock drills at Kendriya Vidyalaya, Parsudih, and several fuel stations across Jamshedpur on Thursday to promote awareness on fire safety and disaster preparedness.

At the school, students and teachers were trained in emergency evacuation, the use of fire extinguishers, and immediate response protocols during fire incidents.

Fire safety exercises were also held at Bharat Petroleum outlets in Sidhgora and Telco, Suraj Automobiles in Telco, Indian Oil in Golmuri, and Auto Service (Hindustan Petroleum) in Golmuri. Staff at these sites were briefed on standard procedures and use of fire safety equipment.
