Kochi, July 30 -- A fire broke out in an unoccupied flat at the Naval Quarters located at Fernson's Apartment on St. Benedict Road, Kacheripady, here at around 1630 hrs on Thursday.
On receiving information about the fire, the Kerala Fire and Rescue Services from the Club Road Fire Station responded promptly and launched firefighting operations at the apartment.
The fire was brought under control quickly through the swift and coordinated efforts of the Kerala Fire and Rescue Services, Club Road Fire Station, with assistance from firefighting teams from INS Venduruthy and INS Garuda. The coordinated firefighting operation prevented the fire from spreading further to other parts of the building.
