Akola, Nov. 6 -- A major fire broke out at JJ Mall, located in Akola's textile market area, during the early hours of Thursday, creating panic among nearby residents. The blaze began at around 3 a.m., prompting an immediate response from the Akola Fire Brigade, which managed to contain the situation without any casualties.
According to police officials investigating the incident, the flames spread rapidly throughout the shopping complex. On receiving the alert, five fire tenders were rushed to the spot, and after nearly two and a half hours of intensive firefighting operations, the blaze was successfully brought under control.
