Shimla, Nov. 4 -- A shocking case of child abuse and caste-based discrimination has come to light from ABC Government Primary School in Bhaloon village under Rohru subdivision of Shimla district, where a Class-I student was allegedly beaten, tortured with a stinging herb, and threatened with death by a teacher illegally engaged by the school's headmaster.
According to a detailed written complaint submitted on November 1, 2025 at Khadrala Police Post by Durga Singh, son of Balak Ram, resident of village Bhaloon, Dr. Sungri, Tehsil Rohru, his young son was subjected to severe corporal punishment and caste humiliation.
