Mumbai, Sept. 6 -- The Amboli police have initiated legal action against fifteen individuals, including actor Nikita Ghag and Vivek Jagtap, for allegedly extorting ten lakh rupees from film director Krushnkumar Meena, an official confirmed today.
The case was formally registered on September 5 under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and the Arms Act.
According to the First Information Report, the incident occurred on August 14 when Meena, a resident of Veera Desai Road who produces Hindi, Punjabi and Bhojpuri music albums, was confronted in his Andheri West office. The complainant had known Ghag for several months after she approached him seeking opportunities in his film projects.
