Agartala, April 16 -- An FIR has been registered at Kalamchoura police station against 35 people, including BJP MLA from Boxanagar under Tripura's Sepahijala district, Tafajjal Hossain, in connection with a violent incident at a polling booth.
The complaint was submitted by TIPRA Motha member Abhiram Debbarma, who is currently undergoing treatment at Bishramganj Hospital. According to Debbarma, the MLA arrived at the scene accompanied by around 200 supporters, escalating tension and sparking clashes.
