Ghazipur, July 22 -- An FIR has been registered against Samajwadi Party MP Afzal Ansari, two policemen (former arms clerks) and others over alleged irregularities in arms licences linked to the IS-191 (Mukhtar Ansari) gang, following an investigation into weapons issued to members and associates of the late mafia don.
According to Ghazipur Superintendent of Police E. Raza, a case has been registered against members and associates of IS-191 (the Mukhtar Ansari gang), along with former arms clerks and officials, for alleged irregularities and misuse of weapons issued under arms licences.
