Aizawl, Aug. 13 -- The Entertainment Society of Mizoram (ESM), in collaboration with the Directorate of Information and Public Relations (DIPR) and with support from the North Eastern Council (NEC), organised Film-Fest 2026, a Short and Documentary Film Festival, in Aizawl on Thursday.
Information, Public Relations, Printing & Stationery Secretary Betsy Zothanpari Sailo inaugurated the two-day festival at the I&PR Mini-Theatre in Lianchhiari Run.
Addressing the gathering, Sailo said the film industry was not merely a source of entertainment but also an important avenue for livelihood generation and a powerful medium for showcasing and preserving the identity and culture of a community.
