Washington, June 5 -- Co-hosts the United States will meet familiar opposition in Group Dof the FIFA World Cup after confronting Australia, Paraguay and Turkiye in friendlies last year.

Turkiye returns to the World Cup after a 24-year absence, while Paraguay is back for the first time since 2010 and Australia arrives after reaching the last 16 in Qatar.
