Beijing, Feb. 26 -- Gianni Infantino has expressed confidence in the direction of Chinese football's reform drive, reaffirming FIFA's commitment to supporting the country's long-term development at a moment of renewed structural reset.

In an exclusive written statement to Xinhua on Thursday, the FIFA president said cooperation with the Chinese Football Association had been a consistent theme throughout his decade in office, while acknowledging a renewed focus on grassroots rebuilding.
