Hyderabad, June 15 -- Welcoming India's strong foreign trade performance during April-May 2026-27, the Federation of Indian Export Organisations (FIEO) on Monday expressed confidence that exports would record even stronger growth in the coming months amid improving global trade conditions.

According to the latest trade data, India's overall exports, comprising merchandise and services, stood at USD 162.69 billion during April-May 2026-27, registering a growth of 14.66 per cent over the corresponding period of the previous fiscal.

Merchandise exports during the two-month period reached USD 88.91 billion, posting a robust growth of 16.09 per cent, while exports in May 2026 alone stood at USD 45.20 billion, up 18.01 per cent year-on-year.
