Chandigarh, Dec. 26 -- Ten-year-old Sarvan from Ferozepur has been conferred with the Prime Minister's Rashtriya Veer Bal Puraskar in recognition of his courage and selfless service during Operation Sindoor. The award was presented by President Droupadi Murmu at a special ceremony held in the national capital on the occasion of Rashtriya Veer Bal Diwas.
Sarvan earned national recognition for displaying remarkable bravery while assisting Indian Army personnel during challenging conditions along the India-Pakistan border in Ferozepur. Despite his young age, he extended voluntary support to soldiers by supplying essentials such as water, milk, tea, lassi and food, often in risky circumstances.
