Nagpur, June 4 -- : The Maharashtra Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has raided a skin, laser and hair transplant clinic in Nagpur and seized around Rs 7 lakh worth of allopathic medicines allegedly being sold without a valid licence, officials said on Thursday.
The action was carried out at a clinic near Dhantoli Garden under the guidance of FDA Commissioner Tukaram Mundhe and senior Nagpur division officials following inputs about unauthorised sale of medicines at the facility. During the raid conducted on June 3, officials seized stocks of 25 types of allopathic medicines and collected samples of four drugs for testing and analysis.
