Kanpur, April 19 -- A shocking incident occurred in Kanpur's Noubasta police station area, where a father allegedly murdered his 11-year-old twin daughters in the early hours of Sunday.
The incident took place at Trimurti Apartment Phase-II in the K-Block area of Kidwai Nagar.
The accused, identified as Shashi Ranjan Mishra, originally from Gaya in Bihar, works as a medical representative.
He lived in a rented ground-floor flat with his wife Reshma, twin daughters Riddhi and Siddhi, and six-year-old son Rudrav. The twins were students of Class 5 at Mother Teresa Mission Higher Secondary School located nearby.
