Kanpur, March 25 -- A tragic incident occurred in Kanpur, where a father and son died after inhaling toxic gas while cleaning a septic tank in an apartment in Gooba Garden, police said on Wednesday.
The victims, Javed (45) and his son Abid (25), had initially completed one round of cleaning and exited safely on Wednesday.
However, during a second round, they became trapped inside the tank. When they did not respond, a co-worker raised an alarm and informed the police.
