Kolkata, July 21 -- A 55-year-old man and his son were allegedly hacked to death following a dispute over the construction of a house on a plot of land in the Rajarhat area on Tuesday, police said.
The victims were identified as Mozaffar Mistri, alias Mona (55), and his son Bapi Mistri (26). Mozaffar's wife, Hasnuara Bibi, was also seriously injured in the attack and is undergoing treatment at a government hospital in Kolkata, hospital sources said.
Police have arrested two suspects, Montu Mistri and Chhontu Mistri, in connection with the killings, while another accused, identified as Matobbor Mistri, is absconding.
