Sasaram, Oct. 14 -- A man and his four-year-old daughter died after a fire broke out at a retail petrol and diesel shop in Ulho village under Nauhatta police station limits in Rohtas district today, while his wife and eight-month-old son sustained burn injuries, police sources said.
The deceased have been identified as shop owner Lakshmi Kumar Gupta and his daughter Kirti Kumari.
Gupta's wife, Sanju Devi and their eight-month-old son, Sumit Kumar, were seriously injured in the incident and admitted to Sasaram Sadar Hospital, where their condition was stated to be critical.
