Gundlupet (Karnataka), Sept. 11 -- Police have registered a case against five farmers for allegedly confining Bandipur forest officials and staff inside a tiger cage during an incident at Bommalapur village.
The accused have been identified as Raghu, Prasad, Deepu, Gangadharaswamy and Revanna, all residents of the village. Acting on a complaint lodged by DRFO Gnanasekhar on the directions of the Bandipur Chief Conservator of Forests (CF), Gundlupet police registered the case.
