Nadaun (HP), March 7 -- The body of 81-year-old Sita Ram, a resident of Kohla village in the Nadaun revenue subdivision, was donated to Dr Radhakrishnan Government Medical College and Hospital, Hamirpur, on Friday evening by his family members.
Sita Ram passed away at his home on Friday morning after a brief illness. During his lifetime, he had pledged to donate his body to the Hamirpur Medical College after his death so that it could be used for medical research and the education of students.
