Lucknow, July 26 -- A fake bomb threat was made at Choudhury Charan Singh International Airport here on Friday night, creating a security alert.
Security agencies conducted a thorough search of the airport. However, no suspicious objects were found, sources here on Sunday said.
Sources said that someone called 112 at 11:50 pm on Friday night and reported a bomb at the airport. Police informed airport security agencies. Security agencies called the informant but found the number switched off.
Security agencies involved in the airport's Bomb Threat Assessment Committee (BTAC) conducted a thorough check from 12:10 am to 1:05 am.
