Thiruvananthapuram, April 21 -- The Kerala Police have issued a detailed advisory warning of a cyber fraud operation specifically targeting users of Vivo and iQOO smartphones through fake "OriginOS Update" messages designed to install malware and steal sensitive financial data.

According to the alert, fraudsters are circulating deceptive pop-up notifications and messages that appear while users operate their mobile phones. These messages typically carry urgent prompts such as "Urgent System update Required," creating panic and forcing users to act quickly.
