Mumbai, Sept. 14 -- Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Monday said that most of the demands raised by Maratha reservation activist Manoj Jarange Patil had been addressed, while the remaining issues were either before the courts or at various stages of consideration.
Speaking to reporters after installing a Ganesh idol at his residence, Fadnavis said the government had not closed the doors for dialogue and was willing to take steps that were permissible under the Constitution.
"Some of the demands are before the courts and some are at different stages. There is a judicial and constitutional process for accepting such demands. They cannot be granted by going beyond the law," the Chief Minister said.
