Mumbai, May 23 -- Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said he has instructed all district officials to do everything to ensure that farmers get enough diesel for tractors ahead of the monsoon Kharif sowing season.
Speaking to media persons at Shirdi on Saturday, Fadnavis said, "There are reports that in some areas, demand for petrol and diesel has increased by around 30 per cent. There is a possibility that there is something wrong due to the sudden increase in demand. Therefore, the District Collector and Divisional Commissioner have been instructed to make plans so that the farmers do not suffer".
