Mumbai, July 15 -- Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis announced here at a farmer's event on Wednesday that Rs 48,000 crore of outstanding electricity dues of farmers across the state have been waived off.
Fadnavis took a dig at the opposition saying, "Some people never thought that farmers' loans would get waived off. They thought that they could utilise this issue, but this government had the welfare of farmers in mind and waived off loans of farmers".
