Nagpur, Nov. 5 -- Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Thursday accused Congress leader Rahul Gandhi of attempting to undermine the country's constitutional institutions and democratic system, alleging that there was an international conspiracy to destabilise India.
Addressing the BJP's 'Loktantra Bachao, Arajakta Hatao' (Save Democracy, Remove Anarchy) campaign in Nagpur, Fadnavis alleged that holding a copy of the Constitution while undermining constitutional institutions had become an old habit of the Congress.
The BJP organised a padyatra in the city as part of its nationwide campaign to counter the Opposition's allegations against constitutional institutions and the electoral process.
