Faridabad, June 25 -- Haryana Police has arrested four persons in two separate cyber fraud cases involving fake online investment schemes operated through social media platforms, including a Rs 15-lakh fraud in which a Faridabad resident was allegedly trapped through a Facebook friendship and lured into investing on a bogus online gaming and investment platform.

The arrests were made by the Cyber Crime Police Station, NIT, Faridabad, during investigations into cyber fraud cases in which victims were persuaded to transfer money on the promise of high returns from online investments and stock market trading.
