Dharamshala, March 18 -- Disaster management experts have expressed concern over the growing impact of natural disasters in Himachal Pradesh during a two-day international seminar on "Contemporary Issues and Challenges in Disaster Management," held at Himachal Pradesh University Regional Centre, Dharamshala, on March 16-17.
Highlighting the need for robust academic discourse on disaster risk management, particularly in hilly regions, speakers stressed the importance of research, better coordination among institutions, and greater community participation.
