Hyderabad, July 12 -- Autism care should extend beyond early diagnosis to provide sustained support through adolescence, adulthood and old age, experts said at the two-day international conference, Autism Odyssey 3.0, organised by the Child Development Centre of Rainbow Children's Hospital in Hyderabad.
The two day conference, which concluded here on Sunday, brought together more than 1,000 delegates from India and abroad, including developmental paediatricians, neurologists, psychiatrists, therapists, educators and policymakers, to discuss advancements in autism diagnosis, intervention and long-term care.
