Kolhapur, Oct. 23 -- Former MP Sambhajiraje Chhatrapati of Kolhapur today called on the Prime Minister of Poland, Donald Tusk, who is currently on a visit to India, in Bengaluru today and discussed the historic ties between Kolhapur and Poland during World War-II.
A high level parliamentary delegation from Poland had visited here in August last to pay homage at the historical monument of shelter given to Polish refugees during World War-II in Valivade village in Karveer tehsil of this district and inspected the proposed Museum of Humanity and Peace project.
