Gonda, June 17 -- Former BJP MP from Kaiserganj Lok Sabha constituency in Gonda district of Uttar Pradesh, Brijbhushan Sharan Singh, and his son, BJP MLA Pratik Bhushan Singh, have received death threats.
MLA representative Ajay Singh filed a complaint in the city police station on Wednesday.
According to police here on Wednesday, MLA Pratik Bhushan Singh received a call from an unknown number on his mobile phone, threatening to kill him and his father. As per the complaint received by the police, the phone call, received at approximately 2:22 pm on June 14, lasted approximately 35 seconds, and contained a threatening tone. Given the seriousness of the matter, the MLA immediately informed the Superintendent of Police, Gonda.
