Chennai, Aug. 22 -- Senior DMK Leader and Former Tamil Nadu Minister V Senthil Balaji appeared before the Directorate of Vigilance and Anti-Corruption (DVAC) office at Alandur in Chennai on Saturday for questioning in connection with case relating to alleged irregularities in the state-run TASMAC.

Senthilbalaji, accompanied by his lawyers, appeared before the DVAC and was questioned for close to three hours based on the documents seized during the raids.

After the Madras High Court nixed his plea, Senthilbalaji had secured anticipatory bail from the Supreme Court on the condition that he should cooperate with the investigations and appear personally whenever he was summoned for questioning.
