Rajahmundry, Aug. 5 -- Former Chief Minister and YSRCP Chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Wednesday demanded that the Naidu government procure tobacco through the Markfed as the traders formed a cartel to keep the prices low.
Speaking to the media after interacting with the farmers at Devarapalli village on Wednesday, Reddy said the average price was drastically falling and the traders formed a cartel to keep the prices low forcing the farmers for distress sale.
